CONCERT: TWO jazz saxophonists, Italy’s Michele Polga and Slovak Radovan Tariška, will unite for a concert on February 5 at 19:30 at the Ateliér Babylon (SNP Square 14) in Bratislava. Other musicians include Paolo Birro on piano, Stefano Senni on double bass and Walter Paoli on drums, all from Italy, and Slovaks Ondrej Krajňák on piano, Tomáš Baroš on double bass and two drummers - David Hodek and Marián Švečík. EXHIBITION: Exhibitions for three artists coincide at the House of Arts: Ivica Krošláková, Oľga Bartošíková and Ľudovít Hološka. Krošláková is a crucial representative of Informel in Slovakia; Bartošíková has been exploring new directions and represents super-realism; and Hološka’s paintings, drawings and illustrations are completed with his essays, reviews and lectures.

SKI RACE: A NIGHT ski race called Hudy Night Work Skialpová Štvanica (Ski-touring Chase) will take place on February 8 at 17:30 at the Donovaly ski resort within the Snow Tour 2014 series.
