FILM: ALL My Children / Všetky Moje Deti is a recently premiered Slovak documentary film that will be shown on February 17 at 17:50 (and again on the 18th and 19th) at the Lumiére cinema club on Špitálska 4 in Bratislava. With English subtitles, the movie, directed by Ladislav Kaboš, shows the efforts of Marián Kuffa, a priest who worked extensively in Roma settlements. MODERN DANCE: Debris Company – Soliloquy – The Debris Company created the “piece of monologue/solilo-quy” as a theatrical adaptation of the last chapter of James Joyce’s novel Ulysses. The piece, choreographed by Stanislava Vlčeková to the music of Jozef Vlk (performed by Zwiebel String Quartett), is directed by Vlk.

SNOW DOGS: SNEŽNÉ Psy / Snow Dogs is the name of an “unconventional winter multi-genre festival” for families that takes place on February 22 and 23 at the bottom terminal cable car station in Tatranská Lomnica. This event is hosted by Andrej Bičan and includes demonstrations of mushing, cross-country skiing, dance performances, animation, face-painting, mountain rescue operations and competitions for children and adults. JAZZ: Gabriel Jonáš Latino Trio – This new project of pianist Gabriel Jonáš (who also composed most of the tunes) includes Juraj Kalász on bass and Eddy Portella on percussion, playing jazz arranged in a Latin style.
