LIVE MUSIC:STATUS QUO, an English rock band that has sold more than 118 million records, will perform in Bratislava on July 1. The group has had over 60 hits on the UK charts, which is more than any other group. Their well-known boogie style has entertained audiences for more than 40 years, and they're obviously still wildly popular. LIVE MUSIC: BANSKÁ ŠTIAVNICA is the venue for several outstanding jazz musicians at the Jazznica festival, which takes place from from July 4 to 6. The list of performers include musicians from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, the United States and even Albania. The highlights of this year's festival are Iva Bittová (on the picture), Elina Duni and Soundcheck. On July 5 at 14:00, famed Slovak artist Oskar Rózsa will hold a workshop at the Divná Pani café. All the performances take place at St. Catherine’s cathedral, beginning daily at 19:00.
