THE BABYLON Club in Bratislava will hold a Multimedia Party on February 11. The headliner, the British band Laika (see picture), will present its new album, Everywhere I am I am What Is Missing. The band is named after the dog the Russians sent to space in Sputnik 2 in November 1957. They use the name as a metaphor for being experimental, or "out there", as the band covers various genres of music. The Slovak bands Abuse and Veneer will also perform, as will VJ Zden, who will bring video projections. Concertgoers can relax while drinking tea in a travelling teahouse. The club is at Karpatská 2 and the party starts at 20:00. The tickets cost Sk290 if bought via internet (www.anarchy.sk), and Sk350 if bought at the door.
