BRATISLAVA

THE YOUNG at the Medium Gallery exhibition is the culmination of a week-long symposium of art students from central European countries. The symposium was held last October in the Austrian town of Bad Fischau-Brunn. Six students from Slovakia, six from Hungary, and six from Austria attended the event, where they created paintings, sculptures, and installations based on the theme of water. The Medium Gallery, located at Hviezdoslavovo námestie 18, is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. The exhibition runs until February 28. CENTRAL SLOVAKIA

DOUBLE Evening, a two-part dance show by five dancers of the Banská Bystrica Dance Studio, takes place on February 27 and 28. The first part, Sectio, choreographed by Zuzana Kozanková, uses the symbol of tied hands to explore the nature of human relationships. The second performance, Mirakulos, choreographed by Katarína Mojžišová, tries to portray destiny and temptation.
