ENTITLED Distance, the exhibition that takes place at Šamorín's synagogue, which houses the At Home Gallery, presents a sculpture created by Japanese artist Hisao Suzuki and his son. It is the artist's first display in Slovakia and his third in Europe. The main motif of his sculpture is distance, which, he says, is "one of the basic elements of our three-dimensional world and also the expression of beauty". His sculpture also portrays linguistic distance, or the distance between eastern and western art. The synagogue is located at Mliečňanská 7, Šamorín, and is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00 until May 16. Admission is free. Tel: 031/5627-999.photo: Tibor Somogyi
