BRATISLAVA

NEY SHOW will present dance performances by 80 dancers in 1,800 costumes, taking place on June 4 in the eastern Slovak city of Košice and two days later in the capital, for the first time in Slovakia. The Orient dance show will have belly dances as well as Caucasian and Balkan dances. The show in Košice will take place at the Cassosport Hall at Alejová 11 and in Bratislava at the Národné tenisové centrum (National Tennis Centre) at Príkopova 6, starting at 20:00. WESTERN SLOVAKIA

TAKING advantage of a pun on the Slovak word dobre (good), similar to a famous acoustic guitar trademark, the Dobrofest music festival will celebrate “goodness” from June 3 to June 6 in Trnava for the 13th time. The festival will host a large number of Slovak and international bands at the lido, The City Sports Hall, the House of Music, and on Trinity Square. Headliner John Ely, a popular American steel-guitar player, will perform at the House of Music on June 4 at 15:00. Tickets cost Sk50, Sk80, Sk120 depending on the venue.
