BRATISLAVA
BIG names from the international folk and blues scene are coming to Slovakia for the fourth Bratislava Folk-Blues Session. Local band Bonzo and the Resonators, a combo started by the founder of Dobrofest Trnava and "dobro" guitarist, Peter "Bonzo" Radványi, will represent Slovakia. Double J&K's Blues, a duo of harmonica player and singer Juha Kartano and resophonic guitarist Jonne Kulluvaara, arrives from Scandinavia. Seward "Harmonica" Shah and Howard Glazer bring over raw, emotional, low-down blues from the Detroit ghetto. The Session takes place November 13 at 19:00 in the Klub za Zrkadlom (Behind the Mirror Club) at Rovniankova 3. Tickets cost Sk140. For more information call 02/6381-1328.photo: Shah and Glazer
