LEGENDARY Moscow theatre troupe, Na Taganke, returns to Bratislava after more than 10 years to perform Marat and Marquis de Sade, a story of passion and up-to-date political intrigue. Theatre director Yury Liubimov, one of the most creative artists in our time, delivers originality of presentation by setting the Peter Weiss drama in the circus arena, with live music, singing and acrobatics. The ensemble will give two performances in Bratislava, November 24 and 25, at the Aréna Theatre on Viedenská cesta 10, starting at 19:00. Tickets cost Sk800. WESTERN SLOVAKIA
THE EXHIBITION Mad Colored/Color DICTATORsheep introduces several examples of "traditional painting" in the first of two parts of a cycle entitled The Present Image - Image of The Present. The project's objective is to analyse the traditional medium of painting and its current visual language. The display showcases more than 50 works created after 1998 by six Slovak artists representing the middle and younger generation. It runs Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Saturday to Sunday from 13:00 to 18:00, until January 9 in Kopplov Kaštieľ (The Koppel Manor House) of the Ján Koniarek Gallery at Zelený kríček 3 in Trnava.
