BRATISLAVA
WESTEND Gallery presents an exhibition of illustrations by Dávid Ursiny. The illustrations accompany the first Slovak translation of The Bhagavad Gítá, Sanskrit for the Song of God, known as the oldest book in the world. The Bhagavad Gítá played a similar role in the history of India as the New Testament did in the history of Europe. Ursiny is a young artist who paints, creates graphic art and does book illustrations. The Westend Gallery, at Dúbravská cesta 2, is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00. The exhibition ends December 6. Admission is free. For more information call 02/5478-9416.photo: Westend Gallery
