JACQUES SAELENS - or Kobe, as he is professionally known - is one of Belgium's most renowned contemporary sculptors. The Nova Gallery in Bratislava is exhibiting 10 of his bronze sculptures, which were inspired by the human body and come from his latest artistic period. The gallery at Baštová 2 is open daily except Monday from 13:00 until 18:00. Admission is free. The exhibition is open until October 21. AUCTION: Under Guarantee - Visual artists and photographers from Slovakia and China, among other countries, display their works for two weeks before auctioning them off. The Slovak artists include Dorota Sadovská, Juraj Puchovský, Mária Filová, Ernest Zmeták, and photographers Karol Kállay, Judita Csáderová, Jana Hojstričová, and Marek Horban. WINE LOVERS have a special chance to taste delicious Tokay wine in the region of its origin on September 29 - the Day of the Open Tokay Cellars. Wine makers in the villages of Viničky, Malá Tŕňa, and Veľká Tŕňa have prepared 16 kinds of this unique wine, four in each of the open cellars. As well as tasting, participants will also hear all about how Tokay wine is produced. The festivities include handicrafts markets and performances by folk dance and music ensembles. Like last year, a special train, the Tokay Express, will take wine lovers from Košice to Čerhov, from where free buses will drive them down the Tokay Wine Path.
