THREE-DIMENSIONAL movies will soon be available to Slovak viewers. Orange IMAX Bratislava cinema, located at the Avion Shopping Park on Ivánska cesta, opens its doors October 31.
The cinema, which will screen both 3-D and two-dimensional movies, will be open to the general public and to students through a special school project. Most international films shown at the IMAX theatre will be dubbed into Slovak.
Programmes scheduled for November through January include the 2-D movies Destiny in Space, filmed by astronauts during a NASA space mission, and The Human Body, a look at what goes on inside all of us. The 3-D movies to be screened are T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous, which shows life on Earth 65 million years ago and Cyberworld 3-D, a showcase of dazzling computer animation.
