OPERA: Macbeth - Macbeth is the tenth opera by Guiseppe Verdi in a row, where he firstly tuned a libretto according to Shakespeare’s work. Its premiere was in 1847. Verdi's Macbeth was created in his image of devastatingly destructive couple: Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are two wretched creatures and their relationship is a combination of caricature of marriage and power struggle. Libretto was created by Franceso Maria Piave, music is rehearsed and led by Marián Vach, directed by Peter Gábor, choirmaster is Iveta Popovičová.
