EXHIBITION: Do You Know Music Tools? – The Western Slovakian Museum / Západoslovenské múzeum brings an educational exhibition, striving to present different kinds of musical tools: string, brass instruments, drums and key instruments. The string instruments are represented by violin, viola and cello. These instruments were popular in the first decades of the 20th century. Zither was popular in the southern part of the Hungarian Empire among Slovaks in the 17th century. Victor Hugo’s drama Le Roi s’Amuse was an ideal story for Verdi, full of great passions, critical view on the society and touching personal line. ETHNO-JAZZ CONCERT: Duo Deši – The musical ensemble presents their unconventional instrumental performance. The special flair is rooted in linking of the baritone saxophone and Australian didgeridoo which is a dialogue of the wood, metal, time, and low frequencies.
