In both art forms presented at the exhibition, Pala explores the potential of space. The rational depiction of relations between individual lines and geometric shapes results in the creation of new spaces.

Glass objects are of a simple cubic design, but inside a world of complex relations between circle segments and laser lines opens.

Drawings that appear to be something between technical drawings and abstracts are accounts of a multi-level exploration of space assembled from lines and geometrical shapes.

Glass has become the material of choice not only for Pala, but also his wife, Zora. But while Pala leans more towards geometry, Zora's work is more intuitive. That is why Pala is holding a solo exhibition this time.

The Komart Gallery is located in the historical centre of Bratislava at Zamočnícka 8. The Pala exhibition runs until January 23. It is open daily except Monday between 10:00 and 18:00. For more information call 02/5441-3440.
