THE PUBLICATION Gothic Art, issued by Slovart Publishing House and the Slovak National Gallery in conjunction with an exhibition of the same name, was named the most beautiful book of 2003.
Written by the exhibition's curator, Dušan Buran, and a collective, the 880-page full-colour book maps the history of gothic art in Slovakia. Local experts cooperated with specialists from Hungary, Germany, and the Czech Republic on the project.
