Latino-American film festival arrives

FOR MOVIE-goers and lovers of Hispanic culture, the Spanish-speaking embassies have prepared several days of Latino-American cinema, Días de cine ibero-americano. Six movies will be screened between November 8 and 11 at Bratislava's Mladosť cinema.The president of the Mozaika/Mosaico association, Diana Patricia Varela Cano, will open the festival November 8 at 17:30. At the opening, the Venezuelan film Desnudo con naranjas by Luis Alberto Lamata will be screened.

The president of the Mozaika/Mosaico association, Diana Patricia Varela Cano, will open the festival November 8 at 17:30. At the opening, the Venezuelan film Desnudo con naranjas by Luis Alberto Lamata will be screened.

Five more movies will follow - Bolivian and Paragu-ayan November 9, Mexican and Spanish November 10, and Columbian November 11. Two more Spanish films will be added to the first and the last days of the festival.

The films will be screened in Spanish with Slovak subtitles or simultaneous translation.
