XXX 2: The Next Level (XXX 2: Druhá dimenzia) - Action by Lee Tamahori. Though Vin Diesel was busy softening his image with family movies, Columbia Pictures was determined to make a sequel to the wildly successful (and, except for Asia Argento, the incredibly boring) XXX. So they cast Ice Cube instead of Diesel and turned the focus from European espionage to American treason. Secretary of Defense George Deckert plans to assassinate the US president and overthrow the government. But Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L Jackson) of the National Security Agency aims to stop him. So he springs the fearless and dangerous Darius Stone (Ice Cube) from jail to bow things up and stop the coup.

Be Cool(Buď cool) - Crime comedy by F Gary Gray. John Travolta reprises his role as Chili Palmer from 1995's highly enjoyable Get Shorty, the last gasp of his very brief mid-90s comeback, which otherwise really only consisted of Pulp Fiction. Also joining him in this attempt to recreate those few glory days are Uma Thurman (his dancing partner from Pulp Fiction), Vince Vaughn, Cedric the Entertainer, and Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000 of Outkast). When Chili takes over the record label of his recently deceased friend Tommy (James Woods), a string of gangsters and hip-hop moguls come after him. Will he - and, more importantly, will Travolta - come out on top?

Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous(Miss Špeciálny Agent 2: Krásna a nebezpečná) - Comedy by John Pasquin. Sandra Bullock returns as Gracie Hart, an undercover FBI agent/beauty pageant contestant. After the beauty contest's winner (Heather Burns) and master of ceremonies (William Shatner) are kidnapped, Gracie teams up with a particularly tough agent (Regina King) to try and save them.

Hitch (Hitch: Liek pre moderného muža) - Romantic comedy by Andy Tennant. Will Smith's first romantic comedy is not particularly fresh or clever; in fact, it plays it quite safe by trying to please as many different audiences as possible. But at times it's nearly as charming as its star, who receives strong help from Eva Mendes and Kevin James. Despite some failed comedic scenes and a weak ending, Hitch is an enjoyable piece of fluff.

The Pacifier(Cumlikátor) - Comedy by Adam Shankman. Because Arnold Schwarzenegger was too busy governing California to make Kindergarten Cop 2, Disney opted for the next best thing: Vin Diesel as a tough military man assigned to babysit four children. Well, sort of: Diesel plays Shane Wolf, a former Navy SEAL who must protect a top-secret defence project, which just happens to be in a home with four wacky kids.
