Smith has played with jazz-greats George Benson, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Rose among others. Benson has said that Smith was the first person who revealed him the beauties of jazz. According to Jean-Daniel Angibaud, the event's promoter, Smith bases his deep music on the legacy of Charlie Parker. It should be quite a night as Markíza and VTV cameras promise to bring the show to their audiences the next morning.
