One World tours country's regions

THE INTERNATIONAL One World festival of documentary films focussing on human rights' issues will stop in three different Slovak towns in March.

Banská Bystrica viewers can watch documentaries about refugees and diverse cultures from March 9 to 10. They can also meet with refugees living in Slovakia and hear their personal stories. In Banská Štiavnica the festival screenings are part of school lessons, but the public can see photographs by Cuban political prisoners' wives and mothers and join a discussion about Cuba. Košice's ambition is to present a large number of films, discussions, and photographic exhibitions focussing on human rights' violations around the world.
