Out of the 12 teams registered in the speed competition, the winning team was able to cook and eat three kilograms of brydzové halušky in less than 26 minutes.

The other competition, A Thousand Tastes of Halušky, focused exclusively on the quality of the meal. In addition to the basic ingredients needed for halušky – bryndza cheese, potatoes, flour, bacon and salt, competitors were allowed to add ingredients according to their own taste, and dishes were prepared with cabbage, eggs and cottage cheese. This competition was won by Majs3 z Ni3 (Champions from Nitra), who beat eight other teams.
