Now in its eighth year, the festival will be more exciting than ever, due to greater Austrian-Slovak cross-border cooperation. As well as recreating Roman customs and traditions, it will also reenact ancient Roman games attended by Caesar and his followers, complete with splendid costumes and period hairstyles. Roman soldiers and gladiators will fight for their lives with rare weapons, such as swords, a trident and nets. Children can take part in the various plays and workshops being held between 10:00 and 15:00 within the Small Roman Games in the Antic Gerulata site.
