The exhibition presents Gothic art by the person historians have only identified as the Master of Okoličné (or, rather his painting studio/studios), as well as some other masterpieces from the eastern-Slovak region of Spiš, from the period of around 1500. The artwork presented comes not just from the SNG depository but also the National Gallery in Budapest, the ownership of churches and private collections. The exhibition lasts only until November 26, and this Sunday is the only lecture that will help to gain deeper insight on the exhibits, as well as on Gothic art in Slovakia and the restoration processes in general.
