Irish Elements features five musicians, five dancers and captivates the audience with its humour, interactive elements and epic choreography.
The show boasts professional and world championship dancers plus multi-talented musicians performing completely live music with amazing dance routines.
The creator Oli Gemoli toured the world for over 15 years with top Irish dance shows such as Michael Flatley’s Lord Of The Dance, Riverdance and other hit shows. After performing on many stages throughout the World Oli decided to settle in Slovakia and created the show known as Irish Elements.
He discovered the local musicians who regularly play Irish sessions in Bratislava plus his guitarist/percussionist and lead vocalist Graeme Mark from Ireland who has also settled in Slovakia many years ago.
Oli Selected the dancers from the very successful Irish dance school known as the Avalon dance academy based in Bratislava and Czechia. The dancers are European and world championship dancers. Combining the fantastic dancers with the multi-talented musicians and skills and choreography of Oli they provide a must see show!
This is Irish Elements first theatre premiere and the start of many more.
Last year Irish Elements performed at the very popular Countryfest in Bohunice Slovakia in front of 10000 fans over two days. It was such a success they have been asked to return again this year which takes place from the 19-21 July.
The Irish Elements ensemble have also been booked for another well-known Irish festival ‘Keltska Noc‘ in the Czech Republic which is a huge festival featuring the best of Irish music and dance, the festival runs from 18-20 July.
The theatre show will be a special edition for the DPOH and will include Flamenco guests ‘La Linda & Juani‘
Linda Stasíková ( La Linda ) is from Bratislava and runs her own flamenco school - Flamenškola. Linda visited India, Belgium, Italy and other countries professionally within her flamenco dancing career.
She also studied at the Escuela Flamenca Juan Polvillo in Seville, Centro Flamenco in Granada and Amor de Dios in Madrid.
Linda's guitarist Juani decided - after wandering through many different musical styles - he found his passion with flamenco. He is fascinated with the diverse rhythms and variations and is inspired by masters such as Moraito and Paco de Lucia. Juani also likes dynamic rumbas and fiestas full of dance.
With live traditional Celtic music and contemporary popular songs, it's the perfect show to introduce Irish culture to guests of all ages. Based in Bratislava, Slovakia, our authentic Irish music and dance show is available for bookings across Europe and worldwide.
