The Europe-wide event under the umbrella of the Council of Europe marks the International Day of Museums on May 18 and takes place in a coordinated way on the third Saturday of May.
Countrywide, this year was coordinated by the Association of Museums in Slovakia, and in Bratislava by the Slovak National Museum. Photographs show highlights of the daylong event.
