The theme of the international theatre festival Divadelná Nitra’s 20th edition (September 23-28, 2011), the (non-)telling of secrets, is enhanced by our new visual identity showing a shelf with different jars and cans. Under their lids, many surprises are waiting, both on the stage and off-stage.

What recipes for life shall we get from the chefs and waiters gathering in The Kitchen, a play brimming with characters of different fates, nationalities, and natures, and sparking until the final explosion, which will be staged by the Andrej Bagar Theatre and helmed by the Hungarian director Zoltán Balázs, invited to Nitra as a guest director?
What shall we learn from the cries of Medea, an ordinary woman who has been abandoned by her man, in the eponymous production by the Russian director Kama Ginkas?
