Theatrical Nitra opens its stage

THE ORGANISERS of the 13th annual international festival Theatrical Nitra, running from September 24 to 29, have finalised the main programme of the event, the TASR news agency reported.The drama ensemble of the Slovak National Theatre will open the festival with Roland Schimmelpfennig's Arabian Night directed by Martin Čičvák, and the Stary Teatr ensemble from Poland will close it with Dea Loher's Innocence directed by Paweł Miśkiewicz.

THE ORGANISERS of the 13th annual international festival Theatrical Nitra, running from September 24 to 29, have finalised the main programme of the event, the TASR news agency reported.

The drama ensemble of the Slovak National Theatre will open the festival with Roland Schimmelpfennig's Arabian Night directed by Martin Čičvák, and the Stary Teatr ensemble from Poland will close it with Dea Loher's Innocence directed by Paweł Miśkiewicz. Among the other invited guests, visitors can see performances by ensembles from the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Russia, France, and Romania. The main programme will be accompanied by a number of social, scientific, and cultural events, as well as concerts and children's activities taking place in the town's centre.
