Enlivening the Finno-Ugric tradition in a rock-pop style, Värttinä is an assemblage of female vocalists accompanied by a team of musicians playing traditional acoustic instruments, such as the Finnish version of a sitar, the kantele, and the Turkish long necked lute, the cümbüs tambur. Twenty years into their career, the band has toured the world and recorded several highly acclaimed albums.

The concert starts at 19:00 at the Aréna Theatre at Viedenská cesta 10, in the Petržalka part of Bratislava near the Old Bridge. Tickets cost Sk490 if bought in advance via www.ticketportal.sk or at the venue, and Sk590 on the day of the concert.
