Topoľčianky gets new sculptures

A COLLECTION of new sculptures made from Bulgarian marble was permanently mounted in the castle park of the town of Topoľčianky near Zlaté Moravce. The sculptures are the work of artists who participated in the second International Sculpture Symposium Topoľčianky 2004, the daily Pravda reported."In the past there was the Ružbachy symposium and the Sculpture of Piešťany Parks project in Slovakia.

"In the past there was the Ružbachy symposium and the Sculpture of Piešťany Parks project in Slovakia. I would like to continue in their tradition with this symposium," said curator Dagmar Srnenská.

The two-week symposium was carried under the motto Art for Health and welcomed local participants as well as those from Israel, Georgia, Spain, and Korea.
