FOLLOWING the enlargement of the European Union, The Hague, in the Netherlands, opened an exhibition of contemporary art entitled Breakthrough. Around 40 young artists from 10 countries will exhibit their works until August 29 at the Grote Kerk Church, the daily SME wrote.
According to Jana Oravcová of the Centre of Contemporary Art Foundation, the curator of the Slovak part of the exhibition, the Slovak selection of works has been called "the most successful", despite the fact that the size of the works was limited by the need to fit into one car.
The photographs of Martin Kollár and Lucia Nimcová, installations of Erik Biner and Marko Blažo, and glasswork by Matej Gavula represent the country.
