Fico wants Slovakia for Slovaks

The new prime minister is now speaking only to his own voters.

After the appointment of his latest administration, President Zuzana Čaputová spoke about the fact that Smer leader Robert Fico is taking over the government after 30 years of Slovakia's existence, which is the product of a joint effort by previous governments, civil society and the private sector. She spoke about the fact that justice must have free passage and the government should represent all citizens, in dignity – including members of minorities.

In response, Fico made sure to include the word "Slovak" in his speech wherever possible. He will lead a Slovak government, with a Slovak voice and a Slovak foreign policy. It is a Slovakia for Smer voters.
