Its 22nd year is being organised by the International Women’s Club of Bratislava (IWCB), whose members consist mostly of wives of diplomats currently residing in Slovakia. It will begin at 10:00 and last until 16:00. “We know that 41 countries, 4 international schools, 5 tables of non-profit organisations, the Rotary Club, the Lions Club and the United Nations’ Refugee Agency, UNHCR [will be there]. Each country will sell meals and products typical of its region,” the press department of the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry informed the TASR newswire, adding that the money collected will be allocated according to strict criteria by the IWCB’s Charity Committee to children’s asylums, social facilities and other non-profit and non-governmental organisations in Slovakia. Last year, more than €90,000 was raised.
