BIDDERS for the 66-percent stakes in Bratislava and Košice airports have 10 extra days to prepare their privatization offers, the Pravda daily reported.
The deadline for submitting the bids was postponed from November 21 to the beginning of December.
Tomáš Šarluška, spokesman with the Slovak Transport Ministry, said that the decision to postpone the deadline came as a result of missing privatization and transaction documents.
The committee responsible for their preparation did not receive all the required documents on time.
Despite the extension of the deadline for submitting the bids, the ministry plans to announce the winner of the tender by the end of this year.
