AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into allegations that independent MPs were offered compensation for their alliance and votes. The motion was filed by the MP and member of the New Citizen’s Alliance (ANO), Ľubomír Lintner, the Pravda daily reported.
Lintner hope is that an investigation would prove that the allegations are unfounded. It is MPs loyal to Lintner’s group that are mostly facing the allegations.
The opposition Smer party chairman Robert Fico did not himself file a motion, despite promising to do so.
