ACTOR Rastislav Rogel who is former leader of the bands Krátky Proces and Juden Mord, playing music previously investigated in connection to Neo-Nazi extremist, has been acquitted in an alleged attack at the Bratislava-based Obluda club in 2008.
Then, Rogel together with another Juden Mord member, Rastislav Čurda, allegedly shouted Nazi slogans in the bar known as meeting point of anti-fascists, and provoked a fight. The people who were guests in Obluda, originally testified that they were insulted and called “Jewish swines”, but in December 2013, they said they cannot remember anymore.
“Defendants entered the bar. However, no witness said that any physical or verbal attacks occurred in the bar,” head of the court panel Ľudmila Králiková of the Bratislava Regional Court said, as quoted by the Sme daily.
Also Rogel denied any wrongdoing, alleging he was the one who was beaten, according to Sme.
Interior Ministry identified music bands Krátky Proces and Juden Mord as those presenting opinions and philosophy which express national, ethnic, race and religion intolerance in its analysis of national security in 2010.
