DELEGATES of a Nato expansion conference at the Belgian Royal Institute of International Relations on October 2 agreed that the Alliance would expand by seven new members, including Slovakia, at a summit in Prague in November.
While the Alliance itself insists no final decisions have been made, Slovakia's chances of joining Nato are seen as solid following the victory in September elections of a West-leaning coalition of four centre-right parties.
