"Slovakia is the only country that voted against using the EU as a cultural revolution against traditional family values," said Palko.

The ministers attended a meeting of the EU justice and interior ministers over security, justice, and interior issues.

Lipšic and Palko have raised several objections to the prepared EU documents, specifically the efforts of EU members to establish a joint EU prosecution office.

They also disagree with the synchronisation of Slovak law as it is applied to family issues with existing EU laws.
