Gary Vidor and Judith Lindenau, representatives of the Traverse Area Association of Realtors in the United States, have been named as featured speakers at the fifth annual conference of the Central European Real Estate Associations Network (CEREAN), entitled "Real Estate Development in Emerging Markets", to be held in Bratislava October 14-16, 1999.
Vidor, the immediate past president of TAAR, will speak on fundamentals of US real estate brokerage. Lindenau, the association executive director, will discuss real estate Internet applications in America.
"We are delighted with this opportunity to meet the European professional community and share our insights on the business of real estate," said Vidor. "Traverse Area Realtors have become international partners with the Real Estate Council of Slovakia, and this event is a continuation of those cooperative efforts."
Lindenau recently concluded a teaching tour through several Russian communities where real estate is a newly emerging business. She was also a featured speaker at the International Relations Meeting of the National association of Realtors in Washington, DC.
The TAAR will also host the visit of a Slovak real estate student for several weeks in July.
