THE NEW Citizen’s Alliance (ANO) is taking steps to try and ensure that the new law introducing university tuition fees will not get through parliament. Parliament is due to vote on the measure today, Tuesday May 17, the daily Pravda reported.
The ANO deputies will vote against the measure or abstaining. However, by being present the ANO may tip the balance in favour of rejecting the law, the daily reported.
The ANO is not against the law as such. They are using the vote to express their unease with Education Minister Martin Fronc himself.
