Stefan Silva told news wire TASR that any protests would be small in scale and that foreign anti-globalists did not consider the NATO parliamentary session a priority target.

Organisations such as the International Monetary Fund and World Bank have a much greater impact on people’s lives, Silva added.

Security for the event will be provided by around 1,000 police officers with a further 3,000 on standby.
