DATA from the National Labour, Social Affairs and Family Office shows that the jobless figure in Slovakia fell to 11.87 percent in April, the SITA news agency reported.
This represents a drop of 0.84 percentage points from March and 3.38 percentage points down on April 2004.
The number of job seekers able to take up a job immediately stood at 306,993 at the end of April. This represents a decrease of 21,700 people on March when the number of job seekers decreased by 92,310 people compared
with last April.
Labour and social affairs offices reported 344,179 job seekers in total at the end of April, a drop of 24,400 compared with March.
