Armed forces will purchase new tactical vehicles

Slovakia’s armed forces will purchase versatile tactical 4x4 vehicles. It announced an international public competition to buy 424 vehicles for the maximum price of €321 million, excluding VAT, the TASR newswire reported.

The sum includes the option of 20 vehicles for the Interior Ministry. The competition will also involve a 10-year framework agreement that will include spare components, mobile masking for summer and winter, and the additional fulfilment of requirements caused by the crisis, TASR wrote.

The deadline for submitting bids is July 2 at 10:00.
