Following the award ceremony, Bisset attached a brass plaque bearing her name to the local "Bridge of Fame", which also bears plaques received by actors such as Nastassja Kinski and Catherine Deneuve.

"Each time I'm invited to a country, I view it as a gift. Maybe many of you don't know how much it means to be awarded. There are rumours that actors are spoilt, but we really appreciate awards. They mean more for us if they are awarded for a particular work, not for the fact that we are celebrities. It's wonderful to be here. Thank you!" Bisset said.
