SLOVAK champions Artmedia Petržalka beat FC Porto 2:3 away from home in the second game of the Champions league group stage. It was a shock result since Porto is one of the favourites.
The Slovak team was down by two goals shortly before half time but in the 45th minute Peter Petráš scored Artmedia’s opening goal.
In the 54th minute Ján Kozák scored the equaliser and in the 74th minute Balázs Borbély made it 2:3 to the Slovaks, bring the Bratislava side an incredible victory.
"We're from a small city but we have a big heart," said coach Vladimír Weiss according to BBC Sport.
"We knew Porto's wingers attacked a lot so our strategy was to take advantage of it, working the diagonals. Fortunately the strategy worked," he said.
