THE CENTRAL bank has said that an unnamed businessman on May 13 deposited $20,000 at a bank in central Slovakia's Lueenec, half of which was in forged bank notes.
While Roman Václavík, shadow economy minister for the Smer party, has said it wasn't him, he has admitted depositing over $10,000 at the bank in question on the same day, and on May 20 appeared at a police station in Lueenec to give an explanation. A local police inspector said Václavík would be formally interrogated within days.
