The guests were met by Slovak Deputy Minister for Human Rights, Minorities and Regional Development Pál Csáky. "We want to decide on what projects or preventive measures could contribute to the solving of this issue,"said Belgian NGO official Luc Henkinbrant after the meeting with Csáky.

Henkinbrant said the mission also wanted to discover if there was sufficient political will in Slovakia to tackle the problems burdening the Roma, and underscored that they are aware of the difficulties which the authorities and the Slovak government have to struggle with.
