Airport spokesperson Dana Madunická told the SITA newswire that the air carriers would provide 86 flights per week. New flights to Venice, Bristol, Oslo and Copenhagen have been added to the schedule since last year, while popular destinations like Alghero, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca remain.

She said further destinations may be added later in the summer due to expansion in central Europe by Ryanair. Additionally, dozens of charter flights will operate from the airport.

Norwegian low-cost airlines Norwegian Air Shuttle will provide two flights a week from Bratislava to Oslo from March 28 and to Copenhagen from May 3. The only local air carrier, Danube Wings, will open a route to Venice on April 6, with flights operating three times a week.
