As for the number of bikes, there were 250 available at the beginning of March. Their number is gradually increasing and expected to reach 400 in April.

Bike-sharing has become a popular form of transport in Bratislava. More than 41,000 people have registered in the system since its launch in September 2018, used in more than 220,000 rides.

Since the very beginning, there has been a group of users reporting problems and who came up with ideas to improve the service. As a result, the operators simplified the locking system for bicycles, made some changes to the communication on the bicycle’s screen, modified how the number of bicycles on the website is displayed, and extended the competences of the information line.

They further strengthened the smart lock, installed seats for taller people and simplified the orientation of users in their online profiles.

Moreover, new docking stations are expected to be installed in the boroughs of Old Town, Nové Mesto, Ružinov and Petržalka during spring, TASR wrote.
