THE BRATISLAVA region is eligible to draw Ř290 million (Sk11 billion) from EU funds during the 2007-2013 budget period, the European Commission has decided.
The EC passed an exception that allowed Bratislava to draw the money, despite the fact that it does not qualify as an underdeveloped region, because it contains half of the country's research potential, the Pravda daily wrote.
