“The mayor’s symbolic door is open to the public every month, and every resident of Bratislava can make use of the project without having to arrange a meeting with the mayor in advance,” Ftáčnik’s spokesman Ľubomír Andrássy told the TASR newswire on Tuesday.

According to Andrássy, 59 people took advantage of the open day in January. The most frequently asked questions concerned individual cases of flats returned to their original owners [restitutions] and the organisation of the upcoming Ice Hockey World Championships.
